Energy Leadership Informatics - Michael Simeone
Michael Simeone is an expert in digital media, computational linguistics and computational modeling.
Currently, he serves as the director of Data Science and Analytics for ASU Libraries, and he was the founding director of the Nexus Lab for Transdisciplinary Informatics.
Simeone's research focuses on multidisciplinary data science, analysis of human-technology networks, data visualization, and data-driven collaborations that bridge environmental sciences and humanities.
Currently, he serves as a domain champion for Humanities for the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment.
We are definitely trying to make sure that people have a better awareness about misinformation and are better equipped to deal with misinformation, but our approach is more example-driven than rules-driven.
