MLK March on West educates students, inspires them to fight for freedom

Elementary and middle school students are marching for freedom and equality, echoing the spirit of the historic March on Washington. They will hear a reenactment of the powerful “I Have a Dream” speech by civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.  The rendition of “I Have a Dream” will be performed by ASU faculty member Charles St. Clair.

ASU Police Department Awarded Multiple GOHS Grants for 2025

The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) has awarded the Arizona State University (ASU) Police Department $49,424 in grant monies for the mitigation of driving under the influence (DUI), excessive speeding, and pedestrian/bicycle related offenses.

ASU Police commander graduates the 292nd FBI National Academy

The Arizona State University Police Department welcomes the return of Commander Daniel Macias after completing the 292nd FBI National Academy. This past Wednesday, December 12, 2024, Macias, along with two hundred and fifty-six law enforcement officers, graduated from FBINA in Quantico, Virginia.

ASU-led Southwest Advanced Prototyping Hub awarded $21.3M for second year of funding for microelectronics projects

The Southwest Advanced Prototyping (SWAP) Hub, led by Arizona State University, has been awarded $21.3 million in Year 2 funding under the CHIPS and Science Act to continue its work advancing the rebirth of America’s microelectronics industry. ASU will receive $18.6 million, with an additional $2.7 million going to Sandia National Laboratories, a lead partner in the SWAP Hub.

Veterans Center celebrates graduates, milestone of supporting 20,000 military-affiliated students

The Pat Tillman Veterans Center at Arizona State University will honor the 714 graduating student veterans this fall semester with its biannual Honor Stole Ceremony on Dec. 14, 10 a.m., in Grady Gammage Auditorium.
