English Professor Jonathan Hope is an expert on Shakespeare’s language, and especially the myth that Shakespeare "invented" large numbers of words.He has also published on Early Modern astronomy, the authorship of Shakespeare’s plays (spoiler alert: they are by Shakespeare), and was a pioneer in the computational analysis of Shakespeare and other Early Modern writers.
He is currently editing "The Merry Wives of Windsor" for Cambridge University Press and setting up the Arizona Book History Group with Brandi Adams.
