Shawn Walker is an expert in social media, activism and social movements, and data analysis.
He is an assistant professor in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the New College.
Professor Walker's research focuses on new forms of political participation emerging on social media platforms and the related challenges of collecting, analyzing, and working with data from these platforms.
In addition to his work at ASU, Walker co-hosts the Misinformation Weekly podcast which provides educational insights on the current events of misinformation.
