Lu Han is the W. P. Carey Distinguished Chair in Real Estate and Finance and academic director of the W. P. Carey Center for Real Estate and Finance at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
One of the world’s leading academic real estate researchers, Han studies housing affordability, real estate market structure, mortgage markets, housing supply, land use, and housing sustainability. Her work helps explain how real estate markets function, why housing access and affordability are so complex, and how policy decisions can shape prices, mobility, investment, and development.
