Daniel McIntosh is a teaching professor at Arizona State University and faculty director of the Sports Business program housed in the Department of Marketing at the W. P. Carey School of Business. 

He also directs the ASU Center for Olympic Studies, part of the International Olympic Committee’s global Olympic Research Center network.

McIntosh specializes in sports business intelligence, analytics, and revenue strategy, with a focus on applying data-driven insights to decision-making in professional sports and major event contexts. His consulting experience includes work with the NBA and leading event operators and organizing committees across Arizona, supporting marquee events such as the College Football Playoff, Super Bowl, Final Four, WM Phoenix Open, and Major League Baseball Spring Training.

Through his academic leadership and applied consulting work, McIntosh bridges research, analytics, and practice to help organizations optimize fan engagement, commercial performance, and large-scale event outcomes.
