Amber Wutich’s research examines inequitable environmental institutions and global health disparities, with an emphasis on water insecurity.
She also directs the Global Ethnohydrology Study, a multi-year cultural study of water knowledge and institutions conducted in 10 countries.
Wutich is a President's Professor of anthropology and director of the Center for Global Health in ASU’s School of Human Evolution and Social Change. She teaches programs in in Global Health, Environmental Social Sciences, and Cultural Anthropology.
