Largest Graduating Class in ASU History Prepare to Impact Workforce
Tempe, Ariz., May 1, 2025 — More than 21,000 students will officially earn their degrees on Monday, May 12, from Arizona State University, becoming the largest graduating class in school history.
The graduates also will be among the world’s most job-ready, with ASU ranked as the No. 2 public university in the United States for the employability of those who earn its degrees.
As the nation’s largest public university, ASU is driving real-world impact by preparing a workforce ready to shape the future. The university’s commitment to innovation and excellence is reflected in the way learners are equipped to lead in high-demand fields such as engineering, artificial intelligence, business and tech innovation — areas critical to solving today’s evolving challenges. One clear sign of this momentum: a nearly 80% surge in students earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science, signaling a powerful shift toward the jobs of the future.
ASU is committed to helping learners of all ages. Some of the notable graduates this year include a 14-year-old with her sights set on law school and a 77-year-old Vietnam War veteran who never gave up on his dreams.
