ASU kicks off Homecoming and Salute to Service 2025 with fun for the whole family

It’s that time of year again when Sun Devils from across the world descend upon Tempe for the long-anticipated tradition that is Homecoming from Nov. 9-15. This year will once again be filled with free, fun, family-friendly activities for all. The week begins at the West Valley campus with Sparky’s Challenge and Sparky’s Carnival and culminates with a powerhouse football matchup at Mountain America Stadium where the Sun Devils will take on West Virginia on Nov. 15 with a kick-off time of 11 a.m.

On Friday, Nov. 14, The Legends Luncheon featuring ASU All-American football players, including Al Harris, Jim Heffcoat, Jaelen Strong and more, takes place at the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU. Hosted by the Alumni Association, Sun Devil Athletics and the Sun Devil Club, attendees can meet some Sun Devil greats while kicking off Homecoming weekend with a delicious lunch.

Led by Grand Marshall Lt. Gen. John F. Goodman, the traditional ASU Homecoming Parade and Block Party takes place Saturday, Nov. 15, at 9 a.m. along University Drive between Forest and McAllister avenues. Visit any of the more than 100 tents with interactive displays and takeaways, including Belle’s Library inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, presented by ASU Gammage this summer, where children can select a free book, courtesy of local non-profit CASA, who helps support foster children.

Colleen Jennings-Roggensack, chair of the Block party will be available for interviews between 7-10 a.m.

Plan on bringing the whole family! The ASU Marching Band, Homecoming Court and several community organizations and local celebrities will be at this signature event.

Free parking is available. Please visit https://cfo.asu.edu/parking for parking information. For tickets to the football game visit Sun Devil Athletics.
