Dawn Gilpin is an expert in communication, public relations, media and crisis management.

She is an associate professor with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Gilpin’s research focuses on the interactions between organizations, media and public policy, and the dynamics of knowledge and power. 

She is a member of the National Communication Association, the International Communication Association and the Academy of Management.
