Maulik Parikh is an expert in cosmology, physics and astrophysics.

He is an associate professor in the Department of Physics within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Professor Parikh's research interests focus on gravity, including the foundations of general relativity, spacetime, black holes, cosmology, the physics of event horizons, and quantum theories of gravity, particularly string theory.

Maulik Parikh is an editor for the International Journal of Modern Physics, and he is a lead organizer for the Beyond Center workshop.

We did a very conservative calculation, which is almost certainly correct. It essentially just assumes there exists something called the graviton and that gravity can be quantized.
