Julia Wallace is an expert in journalism, the business of journalism and media ethics.

She is a professor and the Frank Russell Chair in the Business of Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Additionally, Wallace also heads a training program for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting; the Mayo Clinic-Cronkite Medical Journalism Fellowship and oversees the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Desk at Cronkite News.

Prior to joining ASU, she was a top media executive and high-ranking editor at four major newspapers, where she was the first woman editor-in-chief of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
