José Causadias' research lies in theories and ideas related to culture in order to improve health and well-being.
The overall goal of his research, teaching, and service is to promote innovation in cultural research that can advance developmental and behavioral sciences, and ultimately improve the health and well-being of individuals of every cultural, ethnic, and racial background. Culture has a central role in Causadias’ training and personal life. Because participating in different cultural and academic communities has been so enriching to him, he has become enamored with the benefits of connecting different methods, theories, and ideas related to culture. He is passionate about integrating research on culture, development, and health.
