Joe Zee
Joe Zee is a celebrity fashion stylist, editor and creative director whose expertise sits at the intersection of fashion, media and celebrity culture.
As a faculty associate at ASU FIDM in Los Angeles, he teaches fashion styling and visual storytelling, helping students understand how stylists shape everything from magazine editorials and runway imagery to red carpet moments and global brand campaigns.
Before joining Arizona State University, Zee built a high-profile career in fashion media. He previously served as Creative Director at ELLE and then Editor-in-Chief and Executive Creative Officer of Yahoo Style as well as having held senior editorial roles at major fashion publications including W, Vanity Fair, Details and Allure, where he helped define how fashion is presented to global audiences. Today, he is also an Emmy-nominated host and author and producer.
At ASU FIDM, Zee mentors the next generation of stylists and image-makers, drawing on decades of industry experience dressing celebrities, producing editorial shoots and collaborating with designers, photographers and brands.
Zee is affiliated with ASU FIDM, part of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
