Pavan Turaga is an expert in artificial intelligence and technology.
His research spans representational foundations for structured and unstructured data, including time series, image, video, 3D point clouds and their applications in interactive systems, machine learning, computer vision, and mobile health.
Turaga is the director of the School of Arts, Media and Engineering, and a professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering.
He is affiliated with several centers at ASU, including the Center for Sensor, Signal, Information Processing (SenSIP), the Center for Human, Artificial Intelligence, and Robot Teaming (CHART), and the Center for Innovation in Healthy and Resilient Aging (CIHRA), and the Simon A. Levin Mathematical, Computational and Modeling Sciences Center.
