John Craft is an expert in journalism, broadcast journalism, media and production.

He is a professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and the curator of the Cronkite Gallery.

Professor Craft was the director of graduate studies for more than a dozen years where he taught and lead the Cronkite graduate program to a No. 8 ranking in the nation in the “U.S. News and World Report” on best graduate schools.

In addition to his accomplishments at ASU, he is a member of the Academy’s Silver Circle Society, honored for more than 25 years of outstanding service to the broadcasting profession.
