Ayoub Daliri researches neural processes of speech planning, production and motor learning. 
He uses a combination of acoustic, electrophysiological, and computational techniques to identify and evaluate fundamental processes of speech. Daliri has developed a rigorous research program to systematically investigate various aspects of stuttering, a speech fluency disorder affecting 1% of the general population.

Daliri is an assistant professor of Speech and Hearing Science in the College of Health Solutions.

His long-term goal is to develop effective and optimized treatments for stuttering that are supported by theoretical, neurobiological, and behavioral evidence.
