Allen J. Morrison’s research focuses on Multinational financial management, treasury management, financial management of the oil and gas industry. Before his time as a professor in the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Morrison served as CEO and director-general, senior advisor for global management education and executive education initiatives at Arizona State University.

Morrison has authored or co-authored more than 60 articles and case studies and 11 books including "Sunset in the Land of the Rising Sun," "Global Explorers: The Next Generation of Leaders," and "Failure to Globally Launch: The Case for Aspiring Market Giants."

His research has been published in a range of journals including Harvard Business Review, Strategic Management Journal, Sloan Management Review, and Journal of Management.
