Sharon Bramlett-Solomon is an expert in race, media and society issues. Her professional background includes newspaper reporting, public relations and radio advertising sales, including reporting for the Memphis Commercial Appeal and Louisville Courier-Journal. She is author of Race, Gender, Class and Media: Studying Mass Communication and Multiculturalism.

Bramlett-Solomon is an associate professor in the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication

She is a NewsPro Top-10 U.S. Journalism Professor, ASU Lincoln Ethics Center Past Professor of Media and Culture and AEJMC Dorothy Bowles Public Service Awardee.
