Monika Lisjak is an expert retail therapy, rewards and incentives. Her research focuses on examining consumer goals and behaviors through two streams of research, including symbolic consumption and self-control in the context of health decision-making.
Lisjak is an assistant professor at the W.P. Carey School of Business in the Department of Marketing.
Professor Lisjak’s work has appeared in leading journals in the field, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
