Wanda Dalla Costa

Wanda Dalla Costa is an architect and expert in indigenous architecture who has spent nearly 20 years working with indigenous communities in North America. Her current work focuses on culturally responsive design, sustainable-affordable housing, climatic resiliency in architecture and built environments as a teaching tool for traditional knowledge.

Costa is an Institute Professor in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, with an appointment in The Design School. Her position is a cross-appointment with the ASU School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.

Costa is a member of the Saddle Lake First Nation.
