Thom Reilly is an expert in child welfare, public administration and human resources management.

Reilly's research interests focus on public pay and benefits, public management and governance.

He is a professor in the School of Public Affairs within the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, and he is the former director of the ASU Morrison Institute for Public Policy.

Prior to his experience at ASU, Reilly had extensive experience in the private sector, serving as managing principal of a management consulting firm and as a senior administrator with the State of Nevada overseeing the statewide child welfare system.
