Mark Roseland is an expert in community and economic development, social equity and sustainability.

Roseland's research focuses on sustainable development policy and initiatives, contemporary issues in planning theory, and community and regional economic development.

He is a professor in the School of Community Resources and Development and a senior sustainability scientist with the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability.

As a highly regarded thought leader, professor Roseland lectures internationally while advising communities and governments on sustainable development policy and planning.
