Kevin Wright is an expert in incarceration, re-entry after prison, and prison programming. Wright is an associate professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and is the founder and director of the Center for Correctional Solutions.

He researches the lives of people who live and work inside prisons. He created the Inside Out Program, in which ASU undergraduates travel to prisons to learn alongside incarcerated people. The center's research projects include evaluations of re-entry programs and housing and employment programs and factors that reduce recidivism.
