Christiana Honsberg is an expert in electrical engineering, solar cells and energy.
She studies how to maximize the efficiency of solar panels through the use of experimental silicon solar cells. Honsberg uses her research in hopes to maximize storable energy within each cell by improving the joints and reflection.
She is a professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering and the School for the Future of Innovation in Society.
