Arizona State University in partnership with Cisco will sponsor an IT Awareness Day Thursday, Sept. 14, from 1 – 7 p.m. inside the Tempe Campus Memorial Union, to provide insight into the more than 17,000 open information technology jobs in Arizona.

While this event was designed with military veterans in mind, it is free and open to the public. Anyone who has special interest in this growing industry is welcome to attend any or all events.  Doors open at 1 p.m. with opening presentations beginning promptly at 1:15 p.m.

Attendees will get inside tips, access to resources, hear from hiring managers and prominent members of the community and tech sector. Panelists will provide insight into trends in IT and STEM, work culture and a look at what the future holds for professionals in IT within the state of Arizona.
