Ilan Wurman is an expert in administrative law and constitutional law at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law.

His research focuses on constitutional interpretation and the separation of powers within the United States.

Professor Wurman is the author of The Second Founding: An Introduction to the Fourteenth Amendment, and A Debt Against the Living: An Introduction to Originalism.

His expertise has been featured in the Yale Law Journal, the Stanford Law Review, the University of Chicago Law Review, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, the Duke Law Journal, and the Texas Law Review among other journals.
